International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) opens doors to almost every foreign country for Indian students. Indian students and immigrants are required to clear IELTS or TOEFL before seeking admission in most universities abroad.

IELTS is a test of English with four sections – Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. Candidates are evaluated on each parameter on a scale of 9 bands, and the average of four scores determines overall score. Minimum required Band Score in IELTS is 5.5 for Post-Schooling Courses, and 6.5 for Post Graduation courses.
